The West Fargo Exchange Club was organized in 1973 as the local unit of the National Exchange Club, which provides
individuals with opportunities to use their time and talents to benefit
the local community and the country as a whole. Exchange's Core Values
are family, community and country. The first Exchange Club was founded in 1911 by a group of business executives. The name "Exchange" was selected because the group wanted to exchange ideas and information with like-minded individuals about how to better serve their communities. Since then, over 650 clubs have been chartered with nearly 28,000 members throughout the nation, with each making a positive difference in their communities every day. Through our Programs of Service - Americanism, Community Service and Youth Programs - the West Fargo Exchange Club supports activities that benefit youth, promote pride in our country, honor military and public service providers, plus many more. Some of the local programs our Club supports include the three area High School's Student of the Month recognition, Meals on Wheels, Civic Excellence Award, Firefighter and Police Employees of the Year, Youth Baseball, Keeping Kids Cozy, and the Salvation Army Bell Ringing Campaign. A complete listing is available by viewing the Community Support page on this website. The West Fargo Exchange Club meets Tuesday at Noon at the West Fargo VFW. Guests and prospective members are always welcome! If you have a program or organization that would be congruent with our Programs of Service and would like to speak on its behalf, please contact us.
